MIDA SELF PRO is an elastomeric SBS bitumen sheet intended for use as an underlay or intermediate layer in various waterproofing systems. It is suitable for new roof construction and roof renovation works where reliable adhesion, easier installation and stable moisture protection are important.

This self-adhesive roofing base helps create a safe and well-structured waterproofing solution, as the material can be bonded and, if necessary, additionally fixed mechanically. The product is not intended for single-layer application or as a top layer.

Application

MIDA SELF PRO is used as a bottom or intermediate layer in flat and pitched roof systems, as well as for waterproofing other structures. It is a good solution for projects where a reliable base for the next roofing layers is needed and controlled installation is important.

The product is suitable for both professional construction and renovation projects where a flexible, durable and easy-to-adapt bitumen material with good mechanical resistance is required.

Technical information

The material’s tensile strength in longitudinal and transverse direction is 400/350 ±150 N/50 mm, elongation is 30/30 ±15 %, and nail shank resistance reaches 200 ±100 N. The water vapour transmission coefficient is μ = 20 000, making it suitable for well-designed roof structures.
