Washers of polycarbonate D19 allow attaching cellular polycarbonate to the supporting frame directly through the sheet. The washers of cellular polycarbonate allow the sheet to expand due to heat. This happens thanks to an enlarged hole in the polycarbonate sheet and a neoprene gasket that is included in the delivery kit of the washer. The main fastening element of the washer is a self-tapping screw that fastens the sheet to the lathing. Washers of polycarbonate can effectively prevent “cold bridges” as opposed to the traditional type of fastening – self-tapping screw with metal washers.
Besides, the washer is very easy to use – the self-tapping screw is covered from above with a special cap that covers the surface very tightly. The overall characterization of the washer should be supplemented with its aesthetic look.
